Headless Microsite for Selling Refurbished Products
We built a headless microsite for ADV Tennis to power their refurbished product line. The site runs on a custom front-end decoupled from Shopify’s standard storefront, while staying fully integrated with Shopify in real time.
Product inventory, pricing, and order data sync instantly between the microsite and Shopify, so customers always see accurate, up-to-date availability for refurbished gear, and every purchase flows straight into ADV Tennis’s existing Shopify backend for fulfillment and order management.
The headless setup gave us complete control over the design and shopping experience, letting us tailor the microsite specifically to the refurbished category, while Shopify continues to handle the heavy lifting on commerce, payments, and inventory behind the scenes.
Landing Page Development
ADV Tennis hired Propellex to design and build out their landing pages based on funnel stage and campaign. We strategized and designed conversion optimized landing pages on Replo and Shopify Liquid.
Improved Mobile Navigation
With over 70% of traffic coming from mobile devices, optimizing the navigation experience was a top priority. We restructured the mobile menu using Shopify metaobjects to create a clean, two-tier layout. This allowed customers to quickly browse parent and child categories without friction. The result: improved time-on-site and a 22% increase in mobile conversion rate.
Cart Optimizations
We built an upsell feature for the side cart. The goal was to increase the Average Order Value by showing complementary products of the item just added to the cart. Discounts were offered to incentivize the customer to buy more.
The client also wanted admin control so they could pick and choose which products will be recommended for a certain product in the cart. We achieved this by integrating our cart upsell feature with Shopify Search and Discovery App.
